Entrepreneurship and Creative leadership

The Minor enables students to become familiar with the field of entrepreneurship suppling a toolbox for the business world with the help of design and engineering tools.
The program combines advanced methodologies from the worlds of start-ups and the creative economy with unique tools for creative thinking processes to create real value in the labor market.

Creative Business Cup – Israel

Creative Business Cup is an annual global competition, enrolling participants from more than 80 countries from all over the world. The competition is for creative and innovative startups and is shaped by a shared goal of all the National Partners in Creative Business Network, of connecting and empowering the cultural and creative industries worldwide.

The New Campus with TAU University

Our goal is to give you an entrepreneurial worldview. Allow you to think differently to do things differently. Allow you to fulfill your dreams in your own unique way. Entrepreneurship is an integral part of every profession and field. What’s more, entrepreneurship tools are a set of tools that will take you higher and farther wherever you turn.

The Entrepreneurship Center, run by professionals from industry and the social and design world, offers you a variety of options for building a customized curriculum for entrepreneurship.

ACT Creative Accelerator

Shenkar is the first college in Israel to offer a business acceleration program for projects, ideas and start-ups.
ACT Shenkar supports and assists enterprises that are in the initial stages of establishment, enabling students to make the significant leap into developing their initiatives and accessing external funding.

Creative Industries

In the global landscape in which creativity is listed among the top skills for the future, there is a need for deeper exploration of the role of design and the creative industries and their crucial role in shaping the future of innovation, growth, and prosperity for any sector.
ACT promotes the Israeli Economics of Creativity that has become a global phenomenon that is growing in scale, geography, distribution, and impact.

EU Projects

The IDEA – Inter-Disciplinary Education Agenda project is a research project supported by a grant of the EU Tempus Programme (2012-2015), and aims to improve the exploitation of new knowledge integration in the interdisciplinary area of Engineering, Design and Business at higher education institutes from an industrial perspective - improving innovation as well as academy industry relations.

CLEVER

CLEVER (Creative Leadership & Entrepreneurship - Visionary Education Roadmap), an initiative led by the Innovation Center ACT Shenkar with the participation of a consortium of 15 institutions from Israel and from Europe, is a funded project by the European Commission (EACEA) under the Erasmus+ Programme, for a period of 3 years (2015-2018)
